One-shot submission pack (submit once)
If you do only one thing: run the self-check before you submit.
The one-shot process
Follow this sequence for a single clean submission.Step 1 →Confirm constraints (before comparing offers)
- Know the baseline constraints that may apply (e.g., LTV/tenure rules).
- Only compare options that fit your case—otherwise you'll create avoidable rework.
Step 2 →Prepare your documents pack (master + branches)
- Start with the master documents checklist.
- Add only the scenario branches that apply to you.
- Label documents clearly to reduce follow-up questions.
Step 3 → Run the pre-submit self-check (10 minutes)
- Completeness: nothing missing.
- Consistency: name/ID/address match across documents.
- Legibility: scans are clear and complete.
- Disclosure sanity check: you understand fees/terms you're agreeing to.
Step 4 → Submit once, track requests
- Submit a complete pack in one go.
- Respond to clarification requests quickly.
- Avoid restarting unless necessary; restarts can repeat checks and delays.
Step 5 → Troubleshoot only if a symptom appears
- If you see repeated requests: use the Top 10 causes list to identify why.
- Then follow the troubleshooting tree path to fix once.
